Microlight Scotland: A microlight flying school. Microlight trial flights offers the chance to fly the aircraft or sit and watch. Strathaven Fly-Past is twenty minutes in the air flying and see a tour round the market town of Strathaven, seeing its castle, town centre and homes from the air. The one hour microlight flight experience with a 30-40 minute flight around central Scotland with plenty of time for some hands-on flying.

How to get here


From Glasgow (40 minutes):
Take M8 towards Edinburgh, leave at Junction 8 for the M73 (Carlisle). Then continue onto M74 (Carlisle). Leave M74 at Junction 8 (A71 - Kilmarnock). Follow A71 to Strathaven.

From South west of Glasgow:
Head towards East Kilbride, then take the A726 to Strathaven.

From Edinburgh (60 minutes):
Take the M8 (Glasgow) and exit Junction 8 for M73 (Carlisle) then as above. There is a shorter, but not faster, route using M8, A73 and A71.

From the North:
Take the A9/M9 and A80 and M73 and then join M74 as above.
