Minterne Gardens: These gardens, laid out in a horseshoe shape below Minterne House in the lovely Minterne Valley, landscaped in the style of Capability Brown in the 18th century contain an important collection of Himalayan Rhododendrons and Azaleas.

There is a chain of waterfalls, lakes and streams and with spring bulbs, cherries maples and many fine trees.

The garden is noted for its auttum colouring and well worth a visit at any time of year. In March and April the Magnolia Campbelli is in flower, The streams are lined with Primulas and Astilbes and other water plants.
