Mistley Park Animal Rescue Centre

Mistley Park Animal Rescue Centre: You will most certainly be greeted at the entrance by numerous animals. Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys and Peacocks. Many hundreds of hens and cockerels have been rescued here over the years from battery farms and from slaughter elsewhere or from unwanted homes.

There is a Guinea pig hut where a large number are there to see, Rabbit hutches containing many breeds.

As you walk around the site as well as those mentioned above, Vietnamese pot bellied pigs abound, friendly goats and geese stroll about, while circling overhead are more than 200 white and fantailed doves and pigeons.

In the paddock areas there are many breeds of goats and sheep, together with horses, ponies and a donkey, After enjoying the animals, take a stroll across the bridge and around the lovely fresh water lake, home to a variety of fish including Carp, Tench, Perch and Roach and then along the woodland paths
