Wildlife interest are Cowslips & hairy violet cover the slopes in spring. Small scabious, hedge bedstraw & greater knapweed in the summer. yellowhammers find cover in the scrub.

How to get here

Car

Take the A37 north from Dorchester and take first turn left after Stratton. Cross the river. At the first sharp right hand bend turn left onto a rough track where the reserve entrance will be found opposite a small parking area.
