Newnham Paddox Art Park

UK»England»Warwickshire»Newnham Paddox Art Park

At Newnham Paddox Art Park, through oak woodland and beside serene lakes, the Denbighs have created a contemporary sculpture garden that, at 30 acres, is one of Britain's largest Art Galleries. The primary aim is to remind people of the value of taking time to enjoy what nature offers, visitors simply wishing to enjoy the aboriculture and wildlife in the garden are welcome. Lancelot Capability Brown created the lakes and landscaped the park between 1745 and 1753. Now it possesses the beauty that only a mature landscape can. Newham Paddox Art Park aims to appeal to a wide audience and the work finds balance between the lavish, the humorous, the abstract and the traditional whilst ensuring that all are united in quality. Each piece has been carefully sited to complement the natural settings and enhance rather than detract from their garden surroundings.
