Newtonmore Riding Centre: Pony Trekking is basically a great way of seeing the countryside from horseback. Walking and occasionally a bit of trotting depending on the terrain is all that is required and we cater for all abilities of riders. Treks can be for 1hr, 1 1/2hr , 2hrs, Half Day and Full Day. In fact we can tailor them to what ever you want to do.

Hacking is for the more advanced and concentrates more on riding than on the scenery and nature.

How to get here

The centre is located just outside the village of Newtonmore on the A96 Fort William Road
travelling west. Leave Newtonmore and we are first on the right 300m after the 30mph limit sign just after you have crossed the bridge over the River Calder. The Riding Centre is the new green building attached to the traditional white stone built farm steading that you can see to the right as your travel up the drive to Biallid Farm. The car park is well signposted from the main road.
