On the Air Broadcasting Museum: On The Air Broadcasting Museums fascinating exhibition is built around a collection of broadcasting equipment. With period settings from the 1920s to the 1950s, it tells the story of British radio and TV broadcasting from the early days to digital TV. there are numerous wireless sets, gramophones and books on display and all the sets have been fully restored and are in working order. There is an interesting display containing a clandestine miniature radio transmitter and receiver set. You can also listen to some of the wartime broadcasts and you can watch some vintage television on a 405 lines set.
