Peatlands Park: There are over 16km of paths leading visitors through various habitats within the park. The park is rich in insects, particularly butterflies, moths, dragonflies and damselflies and many woodland and wetland birds and various species of nest here. Grey squirrels, badgers and hares are also present, while lizards and newts can be found in the open bog areas.

A short stroll around the Bog Garden will give you a chance to see almost all of the flora and fauna associated with this precious peatland habitat.
