Ramscombe: Rambscombe is situated within the heart of the Great Wood of Quantock Hills. With three BBQ pits and a handful of picnic tables in a clearing of a few acres, this area can get very busy at peak times. A public toilet is situated nearby.

Rambscombe can be viewed as a great starting place for many routes out and about the Great Wood.

Directions

How to get here

Car

Access to Ramscombe for cars is via Adscombe lane which starts between Marsh Mills and Over Stowey. While this road starts off tarmaced, with very sharp bends, once it enters the Quantocks it turns into a dirt track with very large potholes.
A large metal barrier limits access to daylight hours only.
