Ravenshill Wood

UK»England»Worcestershire»Ravenshill Wood

Ravenshill Wood: Marked trails guide you around the wood. Visitors may prefer to use a network of narrower and quieter paths.

Foxes are a common sight and weasels, stoats and muntjac deer. The glutinous nature of the clay soils retains many of the animal tracks. The varied woodland habitat encourages birds such as buzzard, nuthatch, treecreeper and woodpeckers. Ravenshill is one of the few places that you can find herb paris and broad-leaved helleborine amongst more common flowers such as bluebell, primrose, common centaury, ladys bedstraw and enchanters nightshade.
