Redwings Horse Sanctuary

UK»England»Warwickshire»Redwings Horse Sanctuary

Redwings Horse Sanctuary was established in 1984 and has grown to be the largest horse charity in the UK, working to save horses, ponies, donkeys and mules whose future would otherwise be bleak. Redwings Horse Sanctuarys first site established outside East Anglia is at Oxhill Rescue Centre. This lovely visitor centre has recently been granted Quality Assured Visitor Attraction status and is home to adoption equines, Dylan and Will, donkey Felicity and tiny pony Wensley and more than 50 other horses and ponies. There are regular guided tours of the centre and demonstrations of horse care are given by the equine centre staff. There is also a new childrens play area on site with a picnic area for families to relax and enjoy their day.
