The Revolution House takes its name from the Glorious Revolution of 1688/89 which it is said, altered the course of our islands history and laid the democratic foundations for the future of England. The ground floor of the cottage houses a display of 17th Century country furniture whilst upstairs there is a changing programme of exhibitions on local themes.
