Runswick Sands: A picturesque bay with golden sand popular destination for sunbathers, fossil hunters, swimmers and surfers. There are also a number of caves the two most famous are known as locally as hob holes which legend claims is home to the hobgoblins and the other one which is called Hobthrust which is said to cure Whooping Cough.
