Rutland County Museum and Visitor Centre is the perfect introduction to England's smallest county. The Welcome to Rutland gallery, tells the story of the county, and leads into displays of archaeology, history and rural life. You can have a go at traditional local games or sit and enjoy a tea or coffee in the spectacular 200 year old indoor riding school of the Rutland Fencible Cavalry.

The Visitor Centre holds the latest information about other events and activities in the area and our Award Winning Garden is worth seeing at any time of year
