Salisbury and South Wiltshire Museum: The Museum houses extensive collections relating to the history of Salisbury, and the archaeology of south Wiltshire, including Old Sarum. You will be able to view the popular award-winning Stonehenge Gallery. You can also browse through the large collection assembled by General Pitt Rivers (1827- 1900), an important figure in the development of archaeology and museums. In addition you will also see fascinating displays of costume and ceramics, and regular temporary exhibitions.
