Stanton Windmill: Stanton windmill is a post mill, one in which the whole of the superstructure, complete with sails and all machinery, turns on top of a single post. It has been restored back to its former glory over the last twenty years and is the only windmill in Suffolk regularly producing flour.

How to get here

Car

The mill is situated on the south east edge of Stanton village, Suffolk, which is half way between Bury St Edmunds and Diss. It is well sign-posted (and visible) from the A143.

Opening Times:

Easter - September 12:00-18:00 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.
