Stratford upon Avon Gliding Club

UK»England»Warwickshire»Stratford upon Avon Gliding Club

Stratford upon Avon Gliding Club: Gliding is the art of staying aloft in an unpowered aircraft, using invisible rising air currents to gain height and soar away in silent flight. The members of Stratford Gliding Club really enjoy gliding, and aim to ensure that you really enjoy it too. When you fly, you will be in the front seat of a two seater, dual control, training glider, with a qualified instructor in the back seat. On a clear day, you can see the Cotswolds, the Malverns, and the Lickey Hills, the centre of Birmingham stands out very clearly, as do all the nearby towns of Stratford, Warwick, Leamington, Redditch, and Coventry. You get a completely different perspective on the world when you see it from 1500 feet.
