Boulder Park

Constructed in 1999 the Summerhill Boulder Park is the largest facility of its type in Europe. There are 8 natural looking boulders set down a hillside. The Boulder Park is free and open access for everyone to enjoy.

Archery

Archery is a popular activity at Summerhill. We have a 10m shoot indoors in the Visitor Centre.

Summerhill Reserve

Summerhill's largest contribution to the wildlife is that the site has established 26 hectares of new woodland. The woodland has been planted to create different habitats from coppice and open canopy to primary woodland of ash and oak. There are also several meadows around Summerhill including fields that have been re-seeded. To promote wildlife the meadows are under low intensity management, cut and bailed once during the summer, also look out for a number of sculptures and arts features around Summerhill.
