Trinity Wood

UK»England»Shropshire»Trinity Wood

Trinity wood was planted in 1998 with a mixture of native broadleaved trees as part of the Woodland Trusts Woods on Your Doorstep project. The site is just under 3.5 ha in size but provides a very attractive recreational resource that is well used by locals. The site has the added attraction of being located next to a small mature woodland known as Brick Kiln plantation, also in Trust ownership. A circular linking network of paths gives visitors the opportunity to extend their walk through the recently planted area within Trinity Wood and into Brick Kiln Plantation. It caters for wheel chair and pushchair access especially in the drier summer months. The soils are characteristic free draining which makes it easy to pass over.
