Tunstall Forest is also located in the Suffolk Coastal belt known as The Sandlings. It consists of coniferous plantations, broadleaved belts and heathland areas which link up with both Tunstall and Blaxhall Common. The area has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a haven for wildlife, including fallow deer and muntjac. Tunstall is very popular with walkers, cyclists and horseriders alike.

How to get here

Car

From Ipswich, follow the A12 north. Turn off on the roundabout which is signposted to Orford. Follow the A1152 (signposted Snape).When you come into Tunstall village follow the B1078 which takes you through Tunstall Forest.
