Uppacott Wood

UK»England»Devon»Uppacott Wood

Uppacott Wood: The wood is on level ground and walking is easy, mostly dry with some wet areas to the north east. The Barnstaple Local Group have laid out a network of paths, these are narrow, winding and cross banks and streams. Allow between 1 and 2 hours to walk around this site. According to the ground flora the site appears to be ancient woodland, but the current canopy consists of trees between 100 to 150 years old.
