Walton Maritime Museum: The museum focuses on the relationship between Walton, its surroundings, and the sea. the Old Lifeboat House is a single storey brick built shed which houses the collections and displays. Of particular note are the displays of erosion of the Naze cliffs (part of the GCSE syllabus) and fossilised shells from the Red Crag. There is also information on our restoration project of the oldest motorised lifeboat in the world.
