Weston Coarse Fishing Lake fishery has grown to be one of the most popular pleasure fishing lakes in the Peterborough area. It is only a small lake with an island having around 25 pegs, but sport can be fantastic, whether you are after the lakes silver fish population, or the many carp that average 5lb. The margins are extremely productive, either fishing tight to your feet, close to the marginal reeds, or by casting close to the island. This lake holds some monster carp to almost 30lb which do show regularly. There is ample car parking and the longest walk is only 70 yards and a well stocked tackle shop too, that sells all manner of bait and tackle accessories, please be aware that it can get very busy at weekends.
